Louise Larkinson & Nick Rowe
Louise and Nick popped in to have a chat about MediaBoard. This is an online application which allows users to send txt messages and emails to a website. Nick and Louise were interested in engaging their students in providing feedback on a workshop session with a more innovative approach.
Jill Taylor at Leeds Met' used the software for her ALPS pilot project and kindly set up an area for us to use in this demo.
Louise and Nick are academic fellows of the C4C CETL and are working on a project called, Arts insights into health, illness, disability and social care.
Both Nick and Louise consider themselves "Digital Immigrants".

I like the notion if digital migration, that all this online-as-way-of-life can feel like trying to work in a foreign country, with its strange langauge and customs. It ties in quite nicely with that map you posted the other day.
