PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

JISC Project - Repurposing & reuse of digital University-level content and evaluation (RePRODUCE)

One of 18 projects as part of the RePRODUCE programme which is likely to be of particular interest to e-learning developers, librarians and academic development colleagues.

…………………………………….
An on-line module accredited through the University of Hull (20 credits at M-level) designed to support teachers and academics in further and higher education to enhance their teaching with digital resources.

This module has been sponsored as part of the JISC RePRODUCE project and involves the use of a wide range of open-source resources including a selection from the JISC digitisation programme and the BBC Motion Gallery (JISC) collection.

Participants will learn how to design engaging and challenging activities for their students which incorporate these resources and other digital tool-sets currently available to the community. The module is suitable for educators from all disciplines with exemplars drawn from across the range of teaching subjects.

Participation is entirely online with the course running twice in 2008-2009 (semester I and II). The module costs £365 which includes accreditation and tuition. For further details: http://www.hull.ac.uk/dial/
